Happy St Patty’s Day!
I promise I have green on too. I actually have very very green jeans on, to make sure no one pinched me all day.
We spent the morning at church.
Then all afternoon at a birthday party.
Then the evening at Alyssa’s soccer game. My baby did really well today!
We are wiped out! Luckily we were able to come home to a mish mosh of leftovers for dinner. Then bath time and an early bedtime since Cassidy didn’t have a nap all day.
This weeks meal plan is going to be simple and easy. The only labor intensive dinner component will be making the dough for the calzones, and that’s mostly hands off time. Mimi was here for 4 days so the girls are always a little needy and spoiled when grandparents leave.
Ribs on the grill, baked sweet potatoes, salad
Lemon herb fish, wild rice, sautéed cabbage
Roasted chicken, garlic parmesan quinoa, broccoli
Chicken parmesan calzones, salad
Sloppy joes on homemade hamburger buns (already made), sweet potato fries
Rosemary dijon chicken, brown rice, mixed roasted vegetables
one night of leftovers
Lunches: My mom brought down a bunch of sweet potatoes from her boyfriends farm so I am sure I will have a loaded sweet potato pretty much everyday. I am going to turn orange.
I made 3 days worth of steel cut oats and put them in the fridge today.
greek yogurt waffles or pancakes (whatever Alyssa decides that morning)
sausage and gravy over homemade whole wheat biscuits and eggs (Saturday morning)
